God’s Little Warriors Learning Center
Mission
The mission of God's Little Warriors Learning Center Children at Risk program is to improve the quality of life for children through strategic research, public policy analysis, education, collaboration and advocacy. We approach our mission motivated by our vision: making Dallas and the greater surrounding cities the best place for children.
Primary Focus:
We believe that every child has the right to a safe, stable home in which to grow; sufficient shelter; food, and medical care; and adequate opportunities for social, emotional and intellectual growth. Our society's highest priority must be to ensure that these basic needs of children are met. When the public agenda is planned, children's needs must be the first priority. The focus of God's Little Warriors Learning Center is to make it a place where children's needs come first, where families thrive, and where ample resources are available to children and their families.
Using the tools of advocacy God's Little Warriors Learning Center works on a broad range of children’s issues, including child welfare, education, after school programs, juvenile justice, mental health, and physical health. We focus our efforts where they are needed most: where a significant number of the children, particularly those most in need, are affected, and where we can enhance, but not duplicate, the work of others. God's Little Warriors Learning Center primary focus on every issue is to change policies, laws, and programs to respond more effectively to the needs of children.
